Easton Baseball Bats 2016-2017 Product Reviews

1. Easton Mako Comp 2 3/4" Big Barrel

This bat is made of a composite that gives it unmatched speed in its class. While it isn’t approved for BBCOR it is approved in other leagues. We have a list of the best BBCOR bats here. Check the regulations carefully. Easton composite bat are the best.

This drop 10 bat is made of a composite material with an excellent enhanced trampoline effect. Also, it is a two-piece bat so It absorbs shock. Young players may hold back from swinging hard if they know it will be painful. This bat helps that by reducing shock so your player can hit the ball out of the park without pain.

2. Easton YB15S1 S1 COMP

This drop 12 bat made our best Easton baseball bats list because of its amazing design. It’s also allowed in may leagues including Pony league, Little League, Dixie Youth Baseball and AABC. It’s also certified USSSA 1.15BPF. This bat is one of the best Easton baseball bats 2016 because of its extra-long design.

We like -12 bats because of their light weight and ease of use. We really liked using this bat in spite of some rumors that it might be defective and it might crack. We didn’t see any cracking, but the bat we received was only the correct weight without the tip. Still it made our list of best Easton baseball bats because it did what it was designed to do: it hit the ball well. Easton big barrel composite bats are always made well.

3. Easton Mako Composite - Best Easton BBCOR Bat

This senior league drop 5 bat is one of Easton’s best. The HyperskinATM grip makes it easy to control. The drop 5 baseball bat with patented ConneXion technology is an especially fierce baseball bat. Easton composite baseball bats are reliable and wonderfully designed. This one is a very good bat that we greatly appreciated. It still couldn’t reach our top spot, though.

Still this bat is exceptional compared to other bats. Compared to an aluminum bat, the ball travels much farther using this baseball bat. It was also superior to wooden bats.

Buying Tips

  • Find a bat that fits with the regulations in your division. There are bats that are allowed in some divisions, but not all.
  • Length is an important factor. When holding the bat like a cane, can you easily grasp the handle? If it’s too short it might not be the right bat for you.
  • Look for durability. Wooden bats break more easily than metal, but metal often dents. Composite can also break, but not as quickly. All bats can break or be damaged, but some are stronger than others. Durability is a key factor in choosing the right bat.
  • Make sure the bat is the right weight for the player or their swing might be affected in a way that is difficult to fix.

Conclusion

The Easton Mako Comp 2 3/4" Big Barrel (-10) Baseball Bat was our favorite overall. It is good for a wide range of players in a wide range of situations. We highly recommend this bat.
